Moreton Deakin Associates (MD Architecture) is a long standing, reputable architectural practice based in Hebden Bridge.  Founded by Dennis Moreton Deakin 45 years ago and now run by Sam. Both father and son have played a huge part in acquiring planning permissions and have been heavily involved in the building of many recognised buildings in the Calder Valley and across Yorkshire, winning a Local Authority Building Award (LABA) for a residential development in Hull.

We are, however, more locally recognised and have been instrumental in the design and development of local iconic buildings including The Carlton Hotel, both Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd Health Centres, Walkleys Cloggs, The Birchcliffe Centre, Mytholm Works and Craggs Country Business Park.

MD Architecture are still heavily involved in an array of projects with clients such as housebuilders, care homes, agricultural and commercial clients building their head offices and other units.  We also work with developers and landowners looking to maximize their land with planning permissions and thereafter. The beauty of our two companies is that we work in partnership offering our clients the full package from the initial design concept through to final handover of the project.
